There are about a hundred in this photo, plus about 50 on the other side of the road, all of which are waiting to be interviewed and scheduled for step 2 and most have been here since early dawn. Its a grueling 4 steps to get financial/medical assistance.

Quite a pleasant office compound. The queues are organized, people and staff are accommodating. Although the location is quite challenging due to traffic.

This agency helps a lot of people from the lower class level of the society. Although there's a long wait in the line due to a few staff handling the step 1 processing.

I am an OFW and will be staying here for good. I wrote an email regarding any financial assistance for OFW's and I was really amazed with the prompt reply I got special mention to Ms. Tara who was very helpful in assisting and directing where to go. Unfortunately this amazement was turned to a big disappointment ( the usual thing that happens to our government agencies) I went there today 30th of May 2019 at around 7:30am no more number given out by the guard on duty since 3:00 AM in the morning. People are lining up to get a number at 10:00 PM yesterday. All cases are together at the CIU (crisis intervention unit) no special table for OFW's like me (which i suggested). So I cannot do anything on my part, no information center in that department to at least know the eligibility and the documents needed. I went to the guard on duty again if I can get a number for tomorrow he said I can't because the number will be out on the same day but he suggested a number but the schedule date is on the 26th of June 2019. I really can't believe that it will take months to avail for any help and your resources will be gone by that time. I know our President support all the OFW's. I hope he can do something about this wherein we can go to just one place and avail of any help needed before our resources ran out. Thank you.

Improve more on the social welfare not only to the people outside the office but most impotantly to the employees in field or in the office. Without them DSWD won't operate by itself not unless there are robot that are super perfect and can deliver quality social services. Be mindful to the welfare not only to the employees in high ranks but most importantly to those in the lowest ranks because as we all know they were the ones who really do the running, printing, coordinating, revising, layouting, designing, canvassing etc. I doubt that those jobs can be done by those employees in the high ranks. Yes i know we all do our job, I just want the operators of the DSWD to be more conservative and open-minded to the hardships and workloads given to those in the lowest ranks. At the end of the day what we all want is the 100% satisfaction and engagement rate from our clients. Maagap at Mapagkalingang Serbisyo! #DSWDMayMalasakit
